đľItâs Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmasđľâ Donât tell me you didnât sing that in your head, because I know youâre lying.đ
December âď¸is hands down my favourite month because itâs literally the season to be jolly. The winter wonderland vibes âď¸ are in full swing, and itâs like you can just feel the magic⨠in the air. Itâs the month where your brain clicks off from work, the blankets come out, the stoveâs bubbling with hot chocolate, and festive movies play on a loop. Oh, and of course, itâs the month when we all put on a little holiday weight, but letâs not even talk about that â itâs meant to be guilt-free, right?âşď¸
If it were up to me, Iâd give everyone the whole month off, but unfortunately, the government hasnât granted me world domination just yet. Donât worry though, once I manage my take over, you best believe Iâm making this happen. đ
So, I stumbled upon the cutest little doughnut muffin tin thingy. I donât even know what itâs actually called, so letâs just go with âsaid baking tinâ for now. Anyway, it makes your cakes adorable, fun, and super festive. Plus, the kids absolutely love it â especially my very impressionable 6-year-old sister.
My sister acted like it was the cutest thing sheâd ever seen (and trust me, she has way too many gimmicky things already!). If you want to be the best aunt or big sister, or godmother then you must get one of these! Seriously, Iâm like, top-tier sibling status right now. Although⌠I do wonder how long that will last.đ
But hey, maybe donât tell the parents about the sugar overload. Iâm pretty sure my dad wasnât thrilled to get his daughter back home on a sugar high. But hey, thatâs not my problemo! đđđ
Top Tip: Make sure you spread a generous amount of butter in the tin to avoid the cakes sticking. Otherwise, youâll be in for a pain of a clean-up.
Con: The tin is a bit of a hassle to wash, but honestly, once you see the little cakes, itâs kind of worth it. (Cough-Kind of) đ
PS: My cakes arenât burnt, I swear. Theyâre just a little darker because I used demerara sugar. Why? Because I thought I had caster sugar, but my mum gave it to the neighbours. Once I realised, I was too lazy too brave the cold to get more. Thankfully, my sister was so obsessed with the tin that she didnât notice my little sugar swap. Moral of the story: Double-check your ingredients, unlike me! There was enough icing to cover the taste, but in all honesty, they were a little too strong for my liking. So, lesson learned: donât use demerara sugar.

Link for the best baking tin ever is here. Itâs literally just over a tenner, which has to be the cheapest Christmas present ever. No, this isnât a paid promotion, but Amazon â if youâre listening â it wouldnât kill you to send me a little something, right?đ¤ Iâm pretty sure Iâve sent you enough money over the years. Jeff Bezos, Can you hear me? Iâd like to cash in my dividends please. I really think Iâve earned it with being a loyal customer and allâŚđ
Happy Baking! đ
