I’m back you guys! I know I disappeared for a while — but I promise I had a good reason. I switched platforms, which meant the site was basically frozen in time for a bit… and on top of that I spent most of 2025 living out of a suitcase. But I’m finally back, grounded (sort of but after next week), and SO ready to post consistently again. And honestly? I’ve missed writing to you all.
Okay, so apparently I don’t post enough and I practically ghosted you AND social media — I hear you 😂 I’m genuinely more of a real-life-experience person than a “capture everything” person, but I’ll try to change that next year. For now, as a hug for your patience, here’s what’s coming soon:
(PS: Working on my Social Media is on my New Years bucket list in Janaury!)
Tim Burton exhibition
Flowers exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery
Costume Couture at the Fashion & Textiles Museum
Marie Antoinette at the V&A
Moco Museum
Dress Codes at Kensington Palace
V&A Storehouse
Granny Screamworks
Fabrique Bakery
Sir John Soane's Museum & many (MANY) travel posts queued up for 2026
Now — onto something that genuinely made me feel like a kid again. If you need holiday gifts, or just want to drown in seasonal charm, the Selfridges x Disney Christmas collaboration is the place to be. It is pure magic — whimsical, nostalgic, and slightly dangerous to your bank account.
I originally went in because I “just needed a few things”… which is the most delusional sentence I’ve said all year. One moment I’m walking Oxford Street in the cold, the next minute I’m inside Selfridges surrounded by glittering lights, Disney dreams, and Mickey-themed everything.
And then — plot twist — I ran into one of my oldest friends. Completely random. And honestly? It stopped me in my tracks. We stood there catching up, and I felt like I’d time-travelled back to our college days. The laughter, the teasing, the familiarity — it was such a heart-warming moment. L, you’re still one of the most stunning humans alive, inside and out — it was so lovely seeing you again!
Now… the shopping portion of the evening: They have the cutest Disney x Coach bags I’ve ever seen. I had to buy one for my little sister — she literally squealed when I gave it to her.
And for me? I couldn’t resist the Disney Alice In Wonderland Rose Garden Tea. It’s so delicate and beautifully packaged — like something you’d drink in the rose maze with the White Rabbit running late somewhere. That tea is a vibe.
Now, here’s the bit about Selfridges’ transformation.
This year, Selfridges has basically become a Christmas fantasy world. The outside of the building is wrapped in twinkling lights, and every evening there’s a magical light show that sparkles across the façade, ending in a glowing Disney Castle at the corner of Oxford Street. When the music swells and the lights dance, it honestly feels like London is a stage and we’re all part of the story.
Inside, the displays are just as enchanting — windows reimagining classics like Cinderella and Peter Pan, scenes painted and sculpted like moving storybooks. There are exclusive collaborations everywhere, from fashion to beauty to homeware — everything infused with a touch of fairy dust. It’s festive, playful, romantic — and absolutely unforgettable. The magic runs until the end of December 2025, and if you love Disney or Christmas or beautiful experiences — you HAVE to go- and honestly you’ll find the most perfect gifts this holiday.
Happy December!
